Starting a trail notebook
For years my trip notes lived on the back of maps and in a phone app I no longer use. Most of them are gone. This is an attempt to keep the useful parts somewhere I can find them again.
Expect short trip reports, gear that earned its place in the pack, and the mistakes that taught me something. Do not expect reviews: I buy my own gear, slowly, and keep it until it falls apart.
Everything here is from weekend trips and the odd long weekend, mostly in pine forest and low mountains. Nothing heroic.
